HOPENOTES
Hopenotes are simple handwritten notes of love and encouragement for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
At my debut album release show, I invited the audience to write a hopenote using the journals and pens I gave them at the door (see video).
From what I’ve learned, the shorter the sentiment the better. Of course, if you have the time to write the information for the nearest resource center, that always helps.
The notes were then given to NEOCH (North East Ohio Coalition for the Homeless) who distributed them to the community of people they serve.
